Matthew Perry, who starred in the film “Friends,” has been cut from the film.

Matthew Perry (“Friends”) revealed on Twitter in October of last year that he shot footage for Netflix’s new sci-fi hit “Don’t Look Up” because of his
negative reviews.

The star stated in the post:

“I’ve just been cast in a film starring Meryl Streep!” I’ll be on the treadmill for the next six weeks if you need me. “Don’t bother looking.”
I just saw Meryl Streep in a movie! I’ll be on the treadmill for the next six weeks if you need me.

According to People magazine, he shared the stage with Jonah Hill, a Kid Rock impersonator who plays President Orleans’ chief of staff (Streep).

However, her scene, was from the final cut of the movie, disappointing many fans… Neither Perry, McKay, nor Netflix have explained the cancellation.
