There was a time when the inside of the pro wrestling business was so closely guarded that many fans didn’t even realize the predetermined outcome. By 2022, there isn’t much left to be hidden. Even surprises are challenging to pull off. However, there are some outliers, one of which is Brock Lesnar.
The Beast Is Having Fun
Even right now, when Lesnar is on TV every week, his life and what goes on inside The Beast’s head are relatively unknown. That’s why it’s usually pretty interesting whenever Lesnar opens up and lets fans. The former WWE Champion was a guest on The Pat McAfee Show this week, and on the show, Lesnar spoke candidly about his retirement plans and advice for younger stars.
Brock Lesnar Nearly Went Bankrupt
Being good with his money isn’t a trait Lesnar has always been able to boast about. The Beast also revealed to McAfee that he almost went bankrupt during his first run with WWE 20 years ago. “I was almost bankrupt my first run. I just signed a big deal with Vince, a big deal, back 20 years ago. A lot of guaranteed money. Six months later, I’m like, ‘Yeah, go screw yourself, Vince.’.”
